  Have had to go to this ER on three occasions. Once for high fever after chemo, another time for thumb injury (untreatable at local med center), and another during a really bad gall bladder attack. Each time I was admitted within a couple of minutes and care was very good. During two extended in-hospital stays, I had excellent care and facilities are very nice. I have regular visits to the hospital for lab work and the check in and processing are very fast; blood draw normally within 15 to 20 min. of arrival.

  I have heard others say they had a good experience here, and that's what I expected. I was so wrong. The nurses were fairly rude and didn't listen to my needs whatsoever. I barely asked for anything, but never had a pleasant experience when I did. Just not friendly people. The anesthesiologist was awful awful awful. The epidural did not work the first time nor the second. He touched my legs and asked if I could feel it. I said yes and made it clear the epidural wasn't working. He simply said it was and left the room. How absolutely off-putting. I wished my birth experience were better. It's something you're supposed to treasure and it was very distracting having a team that didn't have a lick of bedside manner. Ridiculous.
